Through heavy rains and turbulent seas the month of June is bringing many sea turtles out of the warm gulf waters to make their nest on our dunes. A historic number of nests have been reported to date. In the 8190 area of Manasota Key a Green Sea Turtle is photographed here returning to sea after nesting.
