“Feast on the Beach” – The Artful Lobster

We had a Feast on the beach, as the Artful Lobster’s Event continues its legend. Held at the Hermitage Arts Retreat gulf side campus on Saturday, November 14, 2015.

Greeted by friends and neighbors of Manasota Key while checking in you could opt for a tour of the Hermitage’s campus and being served a delicious “Hermitage Hurricane” cocktail! A truly refreshing way to begin your Hermitage experience!! (A  la  donation by Key Agency)

A musical performance by its own Hermitage Fellow, Composer Soprano Kamala Sankaram. Never disappointing as Michael’s On East provided an extraordinary Lobster Buffet, serving also Barbecue Ribs, Chicken and plenty of Vegetables, Fruits, and Cornbread that melted in your mouth.

There could not have been a better day chosen for the event. Though this November, has proved to be a warmer than usual month we were gifted with nice sea breezes and cloud coverage to keep us all comfortable throughout the luncheon.

The Hermitage brings us so much culture and our guest bring unmeasurable educational experiences to each of us. The Hermitage has many things going on throughout the year and so much is held here to behold!

The Artful Lobster Event truly is an annual event you should not miss!! Always their door is open for new members who want their Manasota Key experience complete. Many many thanks for this year’s Committee, the board of Trustees, and The Hermitage’s Staff.
