It’s sunset time on Manasota Key. Cue the dolphins along the shore. I comfortably sink into my lounge chair with a glass of my favorite wine. The grandchildren are still down on the beach, collecting sharks teeth from among the seashells. Their laughter mingles with the gentle slap of the surf on the shoreline. Soft breezes carry the scents of frangipani and jasmine. I savor the last warm rays of the sun before it slowly sinks into the Gulf of Mexico, leaving a mural of bright pink clouds in the sky. A perfect end to another perfect day in paradise.
